About AU Spot
AU Spot is a platform unique to AU students. We provide students a chance to show off their hidden talents via our platform. They can post blogs, articles, apps, websites, products, video content and much more.
We also provide a platform for students to find and connect with new people within the university.
Our goal
Our main goal is to provide exposure to all AU students. We know for a fact that getting exposure on big platforms like Instagram is hard.
AU Spot makes it easy to get attention and recognition for students' talent.
AU Spot Blogs
AU Spot blogs feature will allow students to post articles on various topics. Students can post articles on their ideas, their recent work, their projects or any new skill they want to share with others.
This will help students with their writing skills and also give them quick recognition for their work. This help the students gain more confidence.
AU Spot Posts
AU Spot posts feature will allow the students to posts photographic content, although this feature would prove more useful to photography, music and dance clubs to post their work.
AU Spot posts feature will also allow the university to post footage of their recent events. Instead of posting them on platforms like Youtube or Instagram where it is open to everyone, posting on AU Spot the content will be targeted towards to AU students only.
AU Spot Market
AU Spot Market is one of our flagship features, this will allow students to sell their products (kickstarter) on AU Spot. Unlike traditional platforms like Instagram and Facebook where there is immense competion, their product will give instant recognition on AU Spot. We as a platform take care of all technical requirements like online payment system and tracking orders, to sum it all up, AU Spot Market is like Amazon only for AU students.
This will help students to get their first customers easily.
AU Spot Events
AU Spot Events allows students to track events and hackathons taking place in the university. We found that due to lack of proper communication, sometimes students are unaware of the events and hackathons that are going to take place and hence they miss the opportuinity. Well, now with AU Spot Events they can track all events taking place in the university.
We can also send invites to selected users via this feature. Students get notification of upcoming events before hand.
AU Spot Fundings
AU Spot Fundings is a crowd-funding feature built into the platform. Students can raise money for any projects, events, etc. Our moderators look after the legitimacy of a funding request.
This can also be done to collect funds from all students for charity purposes.
AU Spot Forum
AU Spot Forum is another feature which will make collecting surveys much more efficient. We all know the fact that filling forms offline on papers is no good and wastes a lot of time.
With the help of AU Spot Forum faculties can make forms instantly and users can fill and submit it quickly.
The system is so efficient that there no need for students to fill basic information like their name, email or phone number.
AU Spot Pages
AU Spot Pages satisfies the need of building your own community within AU Spot platform. Each class can make their own page (public or private) and post content related to their class.
AU Spot Pages can also be used by different clubs to post all content targeted towards AU students.
About Founders
He is the developer of AU Spot App as well as website, he has done a phenomenal in designing and crafting the core of AU Spot.
He is the lead moderator at AU Spot, he is doing a appreciable job to keep a track on the content floating on the website, also ensuring that our content policies are not breached by any user.
He has done a extraordinary job to market AU Spot among AU students, the platform would not be open to so many students without his constant support.
